Dallas Street Dog Advocates (DSDA), a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit, needed a website that could keep up with their mission of rescuing and rehoming dogs across North Texas. Their old Wix site lacked flexibility, was difficult for volunteers to update, and required too much manual effort to keep adoption listings and events current. We partnered with DSDA to design and develop a custom WordPress website that streamlines their operations while giving supporters an easy way to foster, adopt, and donate.

At the core of DSDA’s site is a direct sync with PetStablished, the platform they use to manage adoption and foster applications. Our system automatically updates the website as dogs become available and removes adopted dogs on a scheduled basis — eliminating duplicate work and ensuring the site always reflects real-time availability. To highlight the most urgent cases, we also integrated AI agents that automatically refresh the “Featured Dogs” on the homepage each week.
Like many nonprofits, DSDA relies on Facebook to promote fundraisers, meetups, and adoption drives. Rather than managing events in multiple places, we built a system that syncs Facebook events directly to the website. This saves valuable volunteer time and guarantees that supporters always have an up-to-date event calendar.

We developed DSDA’s site on a block-based WordPress framework tailored for nonprofits. Volunteers can easily add blog posts, galleries, and sponsor spotlights without touching code. The site structure — including Adopt, Foster, Donate, Events, Gallery, Blog, and Contact pages — gives their team a clear and easy-to-manage foundation that will serve the organization for years to come.
We built DSDA’s site with a focus on design accuracy, time savings, and SEO performance.
Each week, an AI agent selects and refreshes a “Featured Dog” on the homepage, ensuring high-priority pets get maximum visibility without requiring extra staff effort.
Our system pulls adoptable dogs from DSDA’s PetStablished account and automatically removes adopted dogs on a schedule. This prevents outdated listings and saves volunteers from duplicate updates.
Instead of re-entering events in multiple platforms, DSDA’s new site automatically imports Facebook events — keeping supporters informed and freeing up time for rescue work.
